Hi,
Dictionaries define professionalism as the conduct, aims, or qualities that characterize or mark a profession. Professional maturity comes with experience but is it possible for a fresher to be mature. Of course! professional and personal life is not very different. It is connected by a common factor, You. If you are good at dealing with situations in your personal life, chances are that you will find it easier to handle tough situations.
So why are we talking about professionalism and maturity? This is because anyone and everyone at an office are expected to follow the above-mentioned traits. However, a fresher at the cusp of his or her student and professional life will find it difficult to adjust.
So, here are a few tips to keep in mind for freshers:
I will wing it!
During college, most of us have this attitude of winging it. In a professional working environment, we have to understand that you have to learn everything from scratch.

I will wait for my next assignment
Be proactive. Unlike college days, when you study before the exam and open your books only before a test; the office requires you to be always on your toes.

Walk the talk
When it comes to working in an office you have to really work and your performance is what is going to make or break you. Hence it's advisable to be modest in what you commit and show more in action.
